Request for Injunction Filed Oct 2nd and Hearing Held Dec 1st

Our lawyers filed a request for an injunction on Oct 2, 2023. The injunction hearing was held Dec 1, 2023 at 1:30pm and lasted several hours. Judge Purdy of the 95th District Court heard both city and our attorneys Dec 1st. The briefing took much longer than expected. At the end of the briefing, Judge Purdy said they would consider the arguments and would rule whether to grant a temporary injunction or not on Dec 6th.

On Dec 6th, Judge Purdy ruled that the temporary injunction was granted.
Dallas STR Ban Enforcement Scheduled to start Dec 14th is Put On Hold

Enforcement of the STR ban was scheduled to begin Dec 14th. However, on Dec 6th., Judge Purdy upheld the DSTRA's request for a temporary injunction. This means that we will be allowed to continue to operate our short-term rentals until our trial date of June 3, 2024.
